A home warranty helps protect you when covered components of your home systems and appliances break down due to normal wear and tear. Home insurance usually applies when a natural disaster strikes—and only covers for events that are out of your control like freezes, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, floods, and theft.
How does a home warranty work?
Your ARW Home warranty gives you access to our trusted network of qualified contractors, so you never have to search. We’ve helped thousands of customers, and we’re ready to help you, too. Here’s how it works:
- File a claim online or call us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When you request service, you’ll pay a simple service fee.
- We’ll schedule an appointment with a licensed, local repair technician within 24-48 hours.
- After diagnosing the problem, the technician will contact ARW Home to make sure the issue is covered by your plan.
- If everything checks out, the contractor will then repair or replace the item.
When does a home warranty start and how long does it last?
Whether you choose a monthly or annual plan, you can begin requesting service 30 days after you sign up. All ARW Home plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel at any time subject to our Cancellation Terms.
Most of my appliances are really old. Are they still covered?
The age of your home’s systems and appliances doesn’t matter. However old they may be, they’re still protected. Please note that we do have a 30-day wait period in place to help keep plan costs down and protect us from pre-existing conditions.
Cancellation Terms
Your plan will automatically renew for consecutive 12-month periods at the then current rates. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by calling (888) 508-8886 and a customer representative will assist you.
You may also cancel your contract effective immediately. If you cancel, we'll refund unearned/used contract fees minus any service and claims costs incurred by ARW Home. If you received service under your contract in excess of fees paid, you may be responsible for the remainder of your contract payments. Please review your contract for the cancellation terms applicable to your plan. To cancel your contract, please call (888) 508-8886.
