How does a home warranty differ from homeowners insurance?
A home warranty covers the repair or replacement of covered systems and appliances due to normal wear and tear, which homeowners insurance does not. Insurance is designed to protect against unexpected events such as fire, theft, or natural disasters. Many homeowners have both, as they complement each other. Most of my appliances are really old. Are they still covered?
The age of your home’s systems and appliances doesn’t matter. However old they may be, they’re still protected. Please note that we do have a 30-day wait period in place to help keep plan costs down and protect us from pre-existing conditions.
Cancellation Terms
Your plan will automatically renew for consecutive 12-month periods at the then current rates. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by calling (888) 508-8886 and a customer representative will assist you.
You may also cancel your contract effective immediately. If you cancel, we'll refund unearned/used contract fees minus any service and claims costs incurred by ARW Home. If you received service under your contract in excess of fees paid, you may be responsible for the remainder of your contract payments. Please review your contract for the cancellation terms applicable to your plan. To cancel your contract, please call (888) 508-8886.
