Are electrical panels and circuit breakers covered?
Yes. Eligible electrical panels, breakers, and related electrical distribution components may qualify for coverage under applicable ARW Home plans.
Are older electrical systems eligible for coverage?
Yes. Older electrical systems may still qualify for coverage, although age-based coverage limits may apply depending on the system and plan terms.
Does coverage include code violations or cosmetic damage?
No. Cosmetic damage, pre-existing code violations, improperly installed systems, or non-operational aesthetic issues are not covered under electrical system warranty protection.
Does home warranty coverage include electrical wiring?
Yes—home warranty coverage may include electrical wiring, along with components like breaker panels, outlets, switches, and other parts of the electrical system, as long as the issue is due to normal wear and tear and falls within the terms of the plan.
How quickly are repairs handled?
After a claim is approved, ARW Home typically dispatches a qualified service professional licensed technician within 24 to 48 hours.
What are common signs an electrical system may need repair?
Common warning signs include frequently tripped breakers, flickering lights, outlets that stop working, burning smells near switches or panels, buzzing sounds, or partial power loss throughout the home. These issues may indicate problems with wiring, breakers, electrical panels, or related electrical components that may require professional service.
Cancellation Terms
Your plan will automatically renew for consecutive 12-month periods at the then current rates. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by calling (888) 508-8886 and a customer representative will assist you.
You may also cancel your contract effective immediately. If you cancel, we'll refund unearned/used contract fees minus any service and claims costs incurred by ARW Home. If you received service under your contract in excess of fees paid, you may be responsible for the remainder of your contract payments. Please review your contract for the cancellation terms applicable to your plan. To cancel your contract, please call (888) 508-8886.
