Does ARW Home cover garbage disposal motors?
Yes. Motors, switches, grinding components, and other important operating parts may qualify for coverage under eligible ARW Home plans.
Are clogs covered?
Clogs caused by improper use, grease buildup, or foreign objects are not covered under standard garbage disposal protection plans.
Are older garbage disposals eligible for coverage?
Yes. Older garbage disposal units may still qualify for coverage, although age-based coverage limits may apply depending on the appliance and plan terms.
Does home warranty coverage include garbage disposal plumbing?
No. Plumbing pipes, drain lines, and related plumbing systems are covered separately under eligible plumbing system protection plans.
What types of garbage disposal issues are commonly covered?
Coverage may apply to eligible mechanical and electrical failures involving motors, grinding systems, switches, and internal disposal components caused by normal wear and tear.
How quickly are repairs handled?
After a claim is approved, ARW Home typically dispatches a licensed technician within 24 to 48 hours under normal circumstances.
What are common signs a garbage disposal may need repair?
Common warning signs include the disposal not turning on, humming without grinding, frequent clogs, slow draining, unusual odors, grinding or rattling noises, or leaks beneath the sink .These issues may indicate problems with motors, grinding components, electrical systems, or internal disposal parts that may require professional service.
Cancellation Terms
Your plan will automatically renew for consecutive 12-month periods at the then current rates. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by calling (888) 508-8886 and a customer representative will assist you.
You may also cancel your contract effective immediately. If you cancel, we'll refund unearned/used contract fees minus any service and claims costs incurred by ARW Home. If you received service under your contract in excess of fees paid, you may be responsible for the remainder of your contract payments. Please review your contract for the cancellation terms applicable to your plan. To cancel your contract, please call (888) 508-8886.
