Yes. Compressors are one of the most important and expensive refrigerator components and are included in standard coverage for eligible repairs.
Are older refrigerators eligible for coverage?
Yes. Older refrigerators may still qualify for coverage, although age-based coverage limits may apply depending on the unit and plan terms.
Does coverage include cosmetic damage?
No. Cosmetic issues such as dents, scratches, rust, or chipped surfaces are not covered under refrigerator warranty protection.
Is this the same as a manufacturer’s warranty?
No. Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects for a limited period after purchase, while ARW Home coverage helps protect against eligible wear-and-tear failures after the original warranty expires.
Can I cover a second refrigerator?
Yes. Secondary refrigerators, including garage units, may be added through optional coverage selections.
How quickly are repairs scheduled?
After a claim is approved, ARW Home typically dispatches a licensed technician within 24 to 48 hours.
What are common signs your refrigerator may need repair?
Common signs your refrigerator may need repair include the refrigerator not cooling properly, an ice maker that stops working, water leaking around the unit, unusual buzzing or clicking sounds, or the refrigerator running constantly. Addressing these issues early may help prevent more extensive damage and costly repairs.
Cancellation Terms
Your plan will automatically renew for consecutive 12-month periods at the then current rates. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by calling (888) 508-8886 and a customer representative will assist you.
You may also cancel your contract effective immediately. If you cancel, we'll refund unearned/used contract fees minus any service and claims costs incurred by ARW Home. If you received service under your contract in excess of fees paid, you may be responsible for the remainder of your contract payments. Please review your contract for the cancellation terms applicable to your plan. To cancel your contract, please call (888) 508-8886.
